About
Hindi Department is one of the important Departments in Arts faculty of the college, established in 1965. At the beginning, Hindi was taught at general level to this student of Arts. Departmental Faculties developed interest among students in Hindi. From the 1965 the subject Hindi was started to be taught at the special level. Prof.Y.S.Gaikwad is working as H.O. D..Co-curricular, extra- curricular activities are also time to time conducted in the Department, to enhance the intelligence and impart profound knowledge to the students.
Besides, rich Library and good collection of reference books, along with standard Journals and Magazines for student to get an update knowledge of the subject.
· AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT
- To create interest amongst students about Hindi language and literature.
- To motivate students for study of Language and literature.
- To introduce to the different literary forms.
- To inspire students for wide reading and writing.
- To acquaint students with the personalities of notable Hindi Celebrities.
- To impart Knowledge of Hindi awards given on National level.
- To create the feeling of respect and friendliness among students forward the National Language.
- To give tips to the students to improve lucid writing and create topics on the subjects to the Hindi.
