Welcome to the Department of English at Shikshanmaharshi Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe Mahavidyalaya, Miraj. The Department of English is established in 1965. Our department is a vibrant and dynamic academic centre dedicated to the study and appreciation of the English language and literature. Our faculty members are an accomplished group of highly educated teachers who are passionate about their field of expertise. They are devoted to their task of providing students with engaging and thought-provoking learning experiences. Our department offers a wide range of courses to provide the interests and academic goals of our students. We organize various co-curricular, extra-curricular and social outreach activities to engage our students in creative expression and critical thinking, fostering a lifelong adore for language and literature. The department has adapted and modified the curriculum provided by Shivaji University, Kolhapur suitably to meet the needs of the students and to compete with the global trends in the job market
